Tamil Nadu schools reopening postponed again due to intense heatwave conditions

The reopening of schools in Tamil Nadu has been deferred again due to the prevailing heatwave conditions. The decision comes after demands from activists and parents to postpone the opening. Schools will now open on June 12 for classes 6 to 12 and on June 14 for classes 1 to 5.
