The report mentions the SchoolWiki initiative in Kerala, which connects around 15,000 schools for collaborative content development. SchoolWiki, launched in 2009, has over 30,997 articles and 13,000 users, featuring educational content prepared by students, teachers, alumni, and the public. The report also acknowledges the Government of India's initiative for open-source software applications in achieving efficiency, transparency, reliability, and affordability.
