Education Department proposes to start the practice of open-book exams in Karnataka high schools

The Department of School Education and Literacy has suggested open-book exams for classes 8-10 to familiarize students with textbooks and improve SSLC performance, which fell to 74% this year. The Educational Guidelines 2024-25, released by the department, also suggested 25-mark question papers for classes 8, 9 and 10 to be made of each section to be prepared.
