Delhi University Rejects Proposal to Include 'Manusmriti' in LLB Syllabus

The Faculty of Law's suggestions to amend the Jurisprudence paper by including 'Manusmriti' readings were met with criticism from teachers, who argued it promotes regressive views against women and marginalised communities. The Vice-Chancellor confirmed that these changes will not be implemented, maintaining the current syllabus.
