Dehradun schools, Anganwadi centres closed today amid heavy rain, lightning forecast

Dehradun schools and Anganwadi centres will be closed on Tuesday due to heavy rainfall warnings. An Orange alert forecasts very heavy rain and lightning across parts of the district. This precautionary closure applies to all government and private educational institutions. Meanwhile, Ganga river levels in Rishikesh have risen amid continuous rainfall in hilly regions. Authorities have increased monitoring and deployed teams along major river ghats.
